Upon my stay at La Quinta Inn By Wyndham Peru Starved Rock State Park, the breakfast was adequate, yet lacked restocking. the staff were friendly, beds comfortable, and the location ideal for Starved Rock exploration. the indoor pool and hot tub provided relaxation after a day of sightseeing, adding to the convenient comforts of the hotel. the historical sites nearby, such as the Illinois & Michigan Canal and Hegler Carus Mansion, enhanced the overall experience, offering a glimpse into the rich history of the area. Whether traveling for business or leisure, this hotel's amenities, including free wifi, daily breakfast, and an indoor pool, cater to various needs. the sweeping views of the Illinois River at Buffalo Rock were truly captivating, making it a memorable stay within the rural charm of the Illinois Valley.
